Let your soul breath-Dance

-by Ronita D'silva

Dance is a form of art
The true expression of your heart
With your pain you will depart
Joy to soul it will impart

From left leg to right
As you sway like a kite
You will begin to stop thinking about your fright
Your soul will be filled with delight

With your hands up in the air
You turn round making a silent prayer
Even god will swear
To free you from your despair

A Beautiful Day

-by Ronita D'silva

These are few moments
Of just another normal day
In the air i can feel a cool essence
Slowly the sky is turning grey
The flowers are having a melodious fragrance
To which the butterflies are doing the ballet
Little birds too are a part of this mesmerizing ambience
And with the pinkish brown plumage is the noisy jay
There appeared little stars in the sky that added radiance
And the night is taking everything away...

A Moonlite Meet

-by Ronita D'silva
She stood by his door,
She gazed in calm,
Looking at her radiant blue eyes,
He was astonished by her charm.

Never did he imagine she would return,
Not the slightest hope he had
Now looking at her, filled him with concern,
As her face seemed sad

From the day he had left,
From the day they lived away,
Only she was on his mind,
He wondered of her all day.

He thought of her as the same li’l girl,
With messed up hair, waiting by the river
But now this lady was imperial,
With serene eyes carrying a glorious glimmer

Something she hid behind those eyes,
Her mind was of a warrior, yet her soul cried
Of what he had no idea for he beheld her smile,
And Princess was happy to see him and her sorrow died

Years of yore they had spent,
In the ashen thoughts of loneliness
But their minds were one as they relent,
To the magical ways to speak and caress

Years after, they come to meet
And face each other in surprise,
So much is to be said ‘fore the greet
Yet they stood there ‘till the moonrise.

And in her eyes the moonlight shone,
He saw in them the tears of love
And in his eyes his love was shown,
And the world for them seemed hollowed
